Australian dollar rises against the greenback as US tech stocks recover

The Australian share market is set to rise again on Wednesday, continuing this week's positive trajectory.closed up half a per cent on TuesdayThe Australian dollar has gained against the greenback overnight and is 0.9 per cent up to 77.21 US cents."Outside of short-term downside risks, we remain bullish on AUD/USD and forecast it will reach 83 US cents in Q3 [the third quarter of] 2021," they said.

After taking a hit on its first day of trade for the week, the tech-heavy Nasdaq is up 4 per cent in its current session.

Share markets are indicative of economy in 6 months. Advanced manufacturing orders continue to be high through to Sept 2021 and promising for rest of year. A rise in interest rate of a point or 2 will not cause a crash but stability for 2022.
