In your typical farm-to-household chain, fresh produce changes hands maybe 13, 15 times. When we think about food safety, having less people touching your food is probably a better thing. As Future Fresh starts to scale up with the opening of its second farm in Manila, so does the urban farming industry at large. Aside from new entrants popping into the market, even chefs and restaurants are collaborating with Future Fresh to certify the quality of their produce.
