The future of disability respite centre hangs in the balance, following noise complaints from neighbours of the site.Neighbours say it is not suitable for the area and is too noisyThis evening, Adelaide Plains Council's planning assessment panel will meet to discuss the ongoing work of Choice N Control, a farm-based disability service in Lewiston, north of Adelaide, which offers day programs and overnight stays.

The business has been operating on River Road in Lewiston for about three years, but neighbouring residents have said it is not the right setting for the facility.

Choice N Control owner Sunny Singh said he was asking the council for a change of land use and was also seeking approval for $150,000 in building works to upgrade the facilities, install signs and keep a horse.He said he wanted to know where facilities like his were supposed to operate in compliance with zoning laws."Even today, we're asking council what can we do to comply with the zoning.
