Some 77% believe their employer is the most trustworthy institution, more than government and media , according to the report. As a result, Richard Edelman, the CEO of Edelman, says CEOs’ priorities have evolved and multiplied.

While people tend to repeat the statement all the time, it should actually be modified to reflect the reality. Some employees are more vital to a company's success than shareholders; companies don’t care about the rest.
