Assuming commission is fixed. The dollar is still transfer to company and not driver. Not sure how the earnings are calculated.

The taxi queues are long everywhere. The taxis in the queue I mean.

An increase in $1 may prevent consumers from engaging Grab. There's always Gojek & ComfortDelGro as an alternative. Instead of helping their drivers, this exercise will only reduce their income
