Sure everyone wants or needs a new phone but U.S. labor is expensive and this is only going to make the phone more expensive.

Once the US government debunkd the lab leak theory China will start making semiconductors again which will be a total coincidence of course.

SenateDems & SenateGOP often without conscience, will vote together as long as they increase chances for businesses (not their employees) to make more money. But issues that actually affect American citizens get no traction and usually fail to advance. We’re all fed up!!

Any Bill will pass as long as you put 'China threat' on it. That's how desperate Americans have become thinking that China aims to become an imperialistic power. More likely the Bill is passed to maintain US hegemony. Little will go to R&D with most going to US MIC.

to compete with China?

The most repugnant entity in this country is the US Senate. All of its members are not racists, but most of its members who stand in the way of progress are motivated by racism. The few female Senators follow the mostly males who have not evolved...a dishonorable bunch.

Imagine that. People working together

Everyone bitching like this is a bad thing...don’t we want to stay competitive in the technology sector?

The 25 richest Americans including Jeff Bezos, Mike Bloomberg and Elon Musk paid relatively little — and sometimes nothing — in federal income taxes between 2014 and 2018, according to an analysis of IRS filings by ProPublica.

When it comes to the prospect of making money the GOP have rarely refused to put out their hands.

Good to know where their priorities are. 💵

Of course it was bipartisan. The only thing both parties hate more than each other is other countries. I don't think enough Americans realise just how isolationist the country really is.

WOW! This is awesome! Which companies do you think will benefit the most from this news?
