Big players in the industry like McDonald's and Chipotle have not yet mandated Covid-19 vaccines for restaurant staff.

CFO Jack Hartung told CNBC this week after the FDA's approval that the company was looking to get feedback from employees and had not yet made a decision on mandating the shot, but was in "active talks" on the topic. The company has been encouraging employees to get the vaccine, Hartung said, adding he was hopeful the FDA approval might help those on the fence to take the step to get inoculated.

"Certainly, it's exacerbating the situation," he said of workers leaving over the mandate. "We hope they'll change their mind down the line. … In addition to all that you're dealing with the surge of the delta variant, which also creates its own complexity. So, we're getting hit a bit from everywhere."

Mandates are good for business…

I’d rather have a few people out at a time as they’re getting vaccinated than my entire quarantined for two weeks, all at once. You also can’t run a business if your entire staff has been exposed to covid.

I refuse to follow any mandates Until they’re also called womandates It’s 2021 afterall

good

Goodbye middle class, it was nice knowing you all. Well, since every industry is cutthroat and divisive no matter how low on the pyramid you are. Not as much as you think.

Vax mandate the entire population of which a majority is not high-risk of this virus. Makes sense… and then wonder why cities with mandates have failing local economy 👍🏻

My vaccine only works if you have yours too. Every 6 months, for the rest of your life.

vaccine mandates are performative policy not based in science

Maybe don't be facists?
