The Post Millennial Editor-At-Large Andy Ngo says the Portland City Council’s plans to vote on banning doing business with Texas following the state’s new restrictions on abortion is “just more political theatre”.

“This is just more political theatre from Portland’s weak, inept leadership,” he told Sky News host Rita Panahi.“Ever since they voted to defund police last year and also to abolish the Gun Violence Reduction Team in the police department, we have now, skyrocketing homicides and shootings. “This is a real issue in Portland that a lot of people aren’t talking about but that doesn’t make nice headlines.

“What makes nice headlines is for the mayor and city council to go out and say that they’re going to vote on an emergency resolution to ban doing business with Texas, while by the way having no issue with doing business with China.”
