SA's public health chief has told the state's transition committee local businesses will need to 'pivot their business models' rather than expect a 'a return to pre-COVID conditions' even once the state reaches high levels of vaccine uptake.

, and the minutes also noted overwhelming support among the South Australian public for "current restrictions".

"I'm very confident we can end state lockdowns and state lockouts once we get to 80 per cent," Premier Steven Marshall said earlier this month.

It’s time to silence Nicola Spurrier! She’s is hysterical and where the hell is Marshall? He should make the decisions, not Nicola or Grant.

It’s not even warm yet and masks are irritating!

Is the U.S ethical to violate medical confidentiality? If a court orders it perhaps, but that court is formal, it can seal the court. Yet breaching medical records for Draconian vaccination made it possible for Texas to criminalize abortion... Their Feds have lost the plot.

Me I just want to go shopping without a mask. Smile at people and be able to understand what the bloody hell people are saying to me. Businesses are losing income from like minded people. I don't linger in stores anymore, because I can't wait to rip off the mask as soon as I can.

ha ha I see there are some commenters on their soap boxes spewing out irrelevant information. Boring!!

You believe it is ethical to hold citizens down and inject them? Do you think it is ethical to violate their sealed medical records and fire them on what you illegally obtain? How do you call that ethical? It isn't justified by some greater good, it's abuse of power.

Law requires validation, validity requires well founded points of reference, academic facts are only one point of reference, they inform legal principles, but law owes the outcome its principles. Facts inform our physical options and limits, not our ethical responsibilities.

Good.

I restrictions after vaccination targets reached. This is part of the social contract.

Tyrants.

Now this flipping over governed country will have 8 transition teams 8 different plans, 8 different timelines....and then add the federal plan re international borders... we are stuffed

A health chief has their duty to the public health, but that doesn't overrule law.

A citizen is entitled to two layers of confidentiality here, medical confidentiality, meaning no one is entitled to know they aren't vaccinate, and the second layer is attorney/client privilege, their waver is also sealed.

'Business as usual' will require legal measures, people are entitled to refuse vaccination and are entitled to medical confidentiality on that refusal, so there needs to be law to that ends: unvaxxed should sign a waver to cover personal risk.
