"I know it was harsh on people who'd planned parties at home. We were hoping to remove the cap on home gatherings by the 28th of December. This is just not possible with Omicron."

South Australia recorded 1,472 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday, with 37 people in hospital — five of those in intensive care. The Premier Steven Marshall is urging people to get a booster shot to improve protection against the Omicron strain.

This is really starting to piss me off. Most SA businesses were doing fine before we 'opened'. Our GDP went UP. Now we need to pay the businesses we were meant to be 'saving' from COVID because Marshall f*cked it up trying to be clever. We could have done that closed!
