At least 20 Nike executives have left the company in the past 3 months and joined brands like Microsoft, The North Face, and Taco Bell. Here's a running list of recent departures.

Insider reported in June on a previous wave of departures. At least 20 Nike executives have left the company over the past three months for other career opportunities or retirement.

"One thing that became glaringly apparent right away is we lost a lot of people who knew how to get things done quickly through just the sheer amount of experience that they had and their connections," said an employee who left Nike in the fall. of 2021 for roles at companies like Crocs and Columbia Sportswear. A Nike reorganization in 2020 under CEO John Donahoe also resulted in 700 layoffs."They should definitely be alarmed," said an employee who left in 2021.

Yarbrough added that turnover is to be expected after a new chief executive arrives, as is the case with Donahoe, who started at Nike two years ago this month.
