The Pasay City government is still strictly implementing the ordinances on the sale of liquor in the city.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said duly licensed liquor dealers are only allowed to sell liquor during the window hour – from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m..

She said drinking liquor in public places or sidewalks is strictly prohibited. Residents may drink at home. Rubiano said the local government is also implementing the market day scheme in all 201 barangays to avoid crowding inside the market.
