The Tshwane Emergency Services have reported multiple incidents of flooding in Pretoria since last night. Houses, roads, businesses, and bridges have been submerged in raging floodwaters.

Houses, roads, businesses and bridges have been submerged in raging flood waters following heavy rains in most parts of Gauteng.No incidents of drowning have been reported so far.

“The areas which are most affected at the moment, where our members are on the ground conducting assessments and also having intervened since last night. include large parts of the Centurion area around the Henops River. The various low water bridges around Centurion and the Centurion Lake Hotel area are experiencing flooding at the moment, as well as parts of Mamelodi, Eerstefabrik, and other parts in that area.
