NAB’s Chief Economist Alan Oster says the key messages out of NAB’s business survey are confidence “came back” and “conditions softened a little bit”.

There are clear signs confidence is turning around, fairly quickly, according to the National Australia Bank’s monthly business survey.

In January, the survey showed business conditions fell five points, but with state borders reopening, business confidence rebounded 15 points from the December lows.
