The case against alleged Parliament arsonist, Zandile Mafe, has been postponed to the 25th of March for further investigation at the Cape Town Magistrates’ Court. The State applied for the postponement. The State says it still waiting on outstanding forensic reports that will be used in the investigation against Mafe. It says the New Assembly building at Parliament has also not been declared safe yet for crime scene investigators to inspect the scene.The State says the cellphone records of alleged Parliament arsonist, Mafe, are being scrutinised as part of it’s investigation into the fire at Parliament.
