He said a distress call was made to the Hutan Melintang police station by a man stating that an explosion had happened at the premises located on Jalan Tepi Sungai.
“Checks at the site found the body of the deceased in a sitting position on his chair, where half of his body and the chair were burnt,” he said. He said there were no other workers when the incident happened, but another owner of a processing company next door who heard the explosion quickly tried to put out the fire before he called the Fire and Rescue Department.
