Company director remanded over RM2 million KTMB bribery case

A 63-year-old man was detained at the MACC Kuala Lumpur office at 3.10pm yesterday when he was there to give his statement regarding his involvement in alleged bribery involving Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad development contracts. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, February 23, 2022.

A COMPANY director has been remanded for seven days from today, to facilitate investigations into a RM2 million bribery case involving Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad officials, in 2016 and 2017. The remand order was granted by the Magistrate’s Court here after the remand application was made by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission this morning.
