POLL: An overwhelming majority of Americans support companies taking action to support Ukraine against Russia’s invasion—as opposed to just issuing a corporate statement without concrete measures

A 73% majority of respondents support companies making a statement in support of Ukraine—but only 8% said they wanted companies to speak out for Ukraine but maintain business ties with Russia. Americans are split on how long companies’ severed business ties with Russia should last, with 37% wanting them to cut ties permanently and 36% wanting it to be temporary.

Only 4% want companies to maintain their business in Russia and not speak out at all in favor of Ukraine, according to the poll, conducted February 26-27 among 2,210 respondents.11%. That’s the percentage of Americans who said they have a favorable view of Russia, according to a Morning Consult
