Tributes continue to pour in for Channel Africa’s business manager Luzuko Koti , the former Nelson Mandela Foundation spokesperson and seasoned media practitioner, who died on Monday.

Koti died after a short illness, he was also well known to listeners of Umhlobo Wenene FM as he previously hosted a show on the IsiXhosa language station.SABC Group Executive for Radio, Nada Wotshela, says Koti leaves an indelible mark in the broadcasting industry. Wotshela says, “He served the organisation with honour and integrity as a young journalist and radio presenter on Umhlobo Wenene FM and the SABC newsroom in Port Elizabeth in the early 2000s. He inspired young people from rural communities with his passion and determination to succeed. He soon rose to the position of Assignment Editor, before he left the organisation to join government communications.
