A new report reveals workers in the booming resources sector continue to be seriously injured at a rate of more than one a day, as the state prepares to roll out new workplace health and safety laws.

The safety protocols in mining is really high it’s talked about time and time again but when you work 80 plus hours a week fatigue can take effect, Shit can get hairy in a milia second and with machines weighing 100s of tonnes outcomes to humans can be deadly

What do expect we work we don't sit around all day in a inner city coffee shop drinking latte and complaining about a paper cut.

Dear ABC, could you please give us the death, and serious injury, rates of other industries involving machinery, and manual labour, for comparison.
