Bank of America’s local investment banking bosses Joe Fayyad and Dan Janes have reshuffled their leadership group, announcing a string of promotions internally on Tuesday.Coming off a record year , it is understood BoA told staff that James Love, an Australian managing director in BoA’s Singapore office, was returning to Sydney as the firm’s co-head of MLove was last in BoA’s local team about a decade ago, and previously worked at Greenhill Caliburn.
Kate Stone, a managing director who heads BoA’s local consumer, retail and healthcare team in Sydney, will take on additional role as head of corporate finance, which will operate across all sectors and product teams, the bank told staff.Meanwhile Jonathan Denby, a director who heads financial sponsors coverage, was announced as head of the investment banking team in Melbourne, while fellow director Terence Tong was promoted to head general industrials group coverage.
