A global leader in live event ticketing for, among others, stadium concerts and sporting matches, Ticketmaster, has officially launched in South Africa.

CEO of Big Concerts International in Cape Town, Justin van Wyk, has been appointed Managing Director of Ticketmaster South Africa, also with its headquarters in the city.

The company, part of Live Nation Entertainment, is renowned worldwide for its advanced digital ticketing technology. The announcement follows Ticketmaster’s successful online sale of Justin Bieber’s upcoming “Justice World Tour”, the first major international tour to sell all tickets only online in South Africa, and the Rugby World Cup Sevens 2022 tournament.
