Construction will soon begin on the next phase of apartments at the Dallas Farmers Market.

Spectrum Properties plans to build a $33.2 million mixed-income apartment complex on the last remaining parcel of the Dallas Farmers Market redevelopment.Construction will begin soon on the next phase of apartments at the Dallas Farmers Market.

“What’s exciting about it is that [the redevelopment] came to fruition,” said Brian Bergersen, president and CEO of Spectrum Properties, in an interview. “We had a dream of what it could be 10 years ago.” The North Texas Food Bank, which previously had its corporate office on the project site, will take 5,585 square feet of office space on the ground floor.
