Starbucks is rethinking its open bathroom policy due to safety concerns, CEO says

Schultz told the forum that the consideration is due to growing mental health issues that make it challenging for store employees to manage outlets, The Times reported. Schultz said it was an"issue of just safety," adding that the coffee chain may have to limit the number of non-customers who enter its outlets.

"We have to harden our stores and provide safety for our people," Schultz said, according to The Times."I don't know if we can keep our bathrooms open."that allows anyone — including individuals who hadn't bought anything in the store — to use its bathrooms.

Talk about the downward spiral of Starbucks there was a time I would go sit down, have coffee and work, attend meetings etc... without bathroom access this would be totally impossible... even otherwise I think the ambience of late is suffering... really bad!

Starbucks majority of consumers choose to visit your shop is because of the ambience (reduced of late) to stay and work there and no bathroom access means people can't do this... Remember this will affect business Provide racial training not close bathrooms

What is the point? Starbucks you don't expect people sit at your coffee shop and work? How could they do without access to bathroom... Obviously you want folks to just leave then!

I can’t believe adults with functioning brains are coming up with these dumb ideas in the first place, how dumb and naive are we?

U mean having bums in ur restaurant may not be a good idea? More absurdly dumb ideas being shown to be just that, absurdly dumb.

It’s about time! Starbucks have turned into nasty public bus stops with no help from management. Not pleasant to go there any longer. They are losing their target market for sure.

I’m rethinking my open zipper policy in playgrounds also do 2 safety concerns … mine 😂 GD woke idiots .. rethinking , what a crock 🌎 hell in a hand 🧺

some of the Starbucks locations have rethought that policy long time ago and shut their restrooms (for customers) all together

There are certain Starbucks locations that I would never use the bathroom.

That’s racist

trannies be rapin?
