Unsurprisingly, balance sheet health has become the number one topic of discussion for directors right now, particularly at the smaller end.

The “pay to play” model is making a return, where shareholders either participate in a severely discounted round or face near wipeout.of a strong management team forced to raise $18 million by diluting any non-participants by a third, and at a price 85 per cent lower than the IPO of two years ago. The coming months will see a equivalent deals in private markets offered at even more dilutive valuations.
