The chief executive officer and chief operating officer of MindGeek, parent company of controversial adult entertainment website Pornhub, have resigned, according to two sources with close links to the Montreal-based company.
CEO Feras Antoon and COO David Tassilo, both of whom are co-owners of MindGeek, alongside Austrian businessman Bernd Bergmair , left their positions but are maintaining their stakes in the company, the sources said. MindGeek and Pornhub have since been hit with multiple lawsuits on behalf of victims whose videos were uploaded on Pornhub without their consent.
