Thomson ReutersTreasury chief Rishi Sunak, right, listens as Britain's Prime Minister Boris Johnson speaks at his weekly cabinet meeting at Downing Street on June 7 in London.
Sunak and Health Secretary Sajid Javid, two of Britain's most senior cabinet ministers, announced their resignations Tuesday in a move that could spell the end of Johnson's leadership after months of scandals.
Is Johnson all capable and all knowing? Of course he will keep going even when it’s not so nice anymore. Whilst he is there on top. Resist the urge to make a sound even when it’s nice for a second...he will be there forever.
Clinging to power like a drowning man to a raft. Anyone with a shred of honour would have resigned by now.
Of course he will. Decent is gone.
Hi - we need media help to get update from IRCC on cleaning backlog of 2021 TR to PR . It’s been more than a year and looks like no one is working on files or working very slowly.all documents are submitted upfront on May 6 .2021 but waiting so long that frustrating us . Thanks
Funny how all these world leaders can just miraculous cling to power. What would once end a political career is now swept under the rug.
Note to Tories: This is the reality of supporting a narcissist for your own political gain. When they fall, they don't go quietly, and will drag everyone they can on to their funeral pyre with them.
Of course he does. And those ministers should have resigned before the leadership review. Too little too late. Anyone bother checking if they delayed it so they'd get a better pension?
Of course he’s not , he’s just like Trudeau . Ethically & Morally challenged . Both are nothing more than Self serving power hungry tyrants .
Goodbye now, na na na na, hey hey, goodbye now....
Outstanding! Stand your ground Boris!
Why would the British trust a man named boris?
Lol OK Trump
Go for presidential system versus parliamentary. Today's world, in parliamentary system, the PM can loose power if cabinet members or MPs resign or defect. The system is flawed.
See how that looks Trudeau? You're next!
Second RCMP staffer alleging political interference in the mass shooting committee. That story is not Canadian enough? CBC's ignorance is bliss for Trudeau.
ouch....
Take comfort BorisJohnson... It is about you, mate
Trust cbc news To report On foreign news news rather than Canadian, if they did they would have to report on liberal scandals, and they cannot bite the hand that feed them Canadian tax dollars
So what are the odds on Boris's resignation? I haven't heard any numbers yet.
