Vodacom CEO Shameel Joosub remarked that the growth in group revenue was 'underpinned by a resilient financial performance' in most markets, particularly South Africa.

Vodacom's group revenue increased 5.2% to R26.1 billion in the first quarter ended 30 June, supported by a resilient South African market despite the country experiencing a spike in the cost of living.
