In the first six months of 2022, the average wait time to see a doctor at a Toronto walk-in clinic was 10 minutes at the 26 clinics using Medimap’s software.

In 2021, the average wait time in Toronto was 19 minutes at the 22 clinics using Medimap, while the provincial average was 15 minutes.Ontario cities with the longest wait times in 2021 include Burlington , London , Waterloo , and Windsor . Ontario cities with the shortest wait times in 2021 include Brampton , Mississauga , Etobicoke , Scarborough , and Hamilton .

Medimap says it is difficult to say why wait times are shorter in urban areas, but it could be attributed to an influx of new immigrants who have opened up walk-in clinics.Share this article in your social network
