Shedding of Freedom Mobile, by Shaw, is a step towards a merger. Send emails NOW to both the federal Minister in charge & the Competition Bureau. The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry ministerofisi-ministredeisiised-isde.gc.ca

crct why are you guys allowing this one Canada has some of the highest internet bills across a developed world.

We pay the highest rates in the western world, big shame

Boooooo

Stop the merger..if the last outage taught us anything we need more competition

Since when Freedom M obile is owned by Rogers and Shaw.

I'm switching to bell

evil

That merger should be blocked as it’s in no way in the public interest.

What part of hell no did they not understand? The Federal government has to squash the deal out of the need for national security.

We need more competition not less, we pay the highest rates in North America

Monopoly

Hopefully they expand the Freedom & don't get greedy.

What does that do to Shaw Mobile?

😒

Isnt that treason, selling stuff to a Quebec company?

Not enough

The CRTCeng is a scam, and should be Dismantled.

Given the recent blackout, the CRTC has rocks in their head to allow Rogers to continue to monopolize communication lines across this country.

This will have consumers loose one national carrier and transform a regional carrier into a national one. No way to predict how well that's going to play out, but we can safely assume that prices will not be lowering any time soon.

Gee, what could possibly go wrong? Day long shut downs?

… and combine into a swirling vortex of overpriced suck. Yay us.

Riiiight. Because LESS competition by fewer major players will be GOOD for Canadian consumers and will drive down pricing and increase service and reliability… (Turns Sarcasm font off) Rogers demonstrated why this should be blocked just a few weeks ago.
