A small business lobby group says commercial bankruptcies are rising in Canada and even more small businesses are at risk of closure.

It said 46 per cent of business owners say they would simply stop operating rather than go through the bankruptcy process.

When you shut down small businesses but allow big box stores to stay open during the pandemic, this is the consequence. Corporate donors 1, mom & pop 0.

Stores were depending on the opening up of the economy to help them out. For some it didn't.

Yeah...2 years of BS lockdowns by the government for a glorified COLD had NOTHING to do with it.
