Sault Ste. Marie City Council tonight awarded a $2,994,000 contract to Ruscio General Contracting to relocate the Mill Market to 73 Brock St., immediately adjacent to the new downtown plaza.

The project will cost more than expected and councillors agreed tonight to kill a proposed extension of the boardwalk at Bondar Marina, with the savings redirected to cover the Mill Market overspend.
