WATCH: HaJungWoo, ParkHaeSoo, And HwangJungMin Start A Deadly Business Relationship In Trailer For “NarcoSaints”

On August 25, Netflix revealed a main trailer for their upcoming crime thriller “Narco-Saints.”

“Narco-Saints” is a drama about a civilian businessman who winds up helping the National Intelligence Service’s secret operation to take down a Korean drug king who is operating in the South American country Suriname. It is loosely based on a real story. In the trailer, Kang In Goo goes to Suriname, a South American country that is unfamiliar to him, looking for an opportunity to earn a lot of money. When cocaine is found on a ship carrying his belongings to Korea, he loses everything and unfairly gets sentenced with imprisonment.

Choi Chang Ho , an agent of the NIS who has been pushed to the limit while working alone in a foreign country, approaches Kang In Goo and informs him of the dark secrets of Jeon Yo Hwan , a Korean pastor in Suriname. Choi Chang Ho offers Kang In Goo a deal to arrest Jeon Yo Hwan. Kang In Goo accepts, gets released from prison, and returns to Suriname as an NIS undercover agent in order to recover everything he has lost.

Jeon Yo Hwan, who is undisputedly powerful due to his connection with the government of Suriname, suspects Kang In Goo and threatens him. However, there is no place to back down for Kang In Goo. He willingly becomes bait in order to catch Jeon Yo Hwan and overcomes the numerous crises with his innate ability to survive. Contrary to what Choi Chang Ho said, Kang In Goo keeps facing deadly situations where he has to risk his own life.
