President of Electronic Media Content Owners Association of Nigeria (EMCOAN), Mrs. Jibe Ologeh, has said the maiden Nigeria Electronic

Media Content Exhibition and Awards will create a content market for the electronic media and film industry.

Ologeh, noted that NEMCEA, which would be a yearly event, is bringing together stakeholders within and outside the country to buy, sell, collaborate, aggregate, exchange ideas on content and also bring to fore issues and perspectives bordering on the media industry in Nigeria and across Africa as a whole.

She disclosed, “NEMCEA will be collocating with Nigeria International Film and Television Summit . This means that these two big events will be happening simultaneously at the same venue thereby providing industry planner omnibus opportunity to interact with various bouquet of media content from across Africa.”

There is also ‘The Awards’ conceptualised to reward creativity, excellence and innovation in the electronic media content ecosystem.
