Please must be so terrible to get a little fresh food in the downtown. Those people that walk the streets and shop are terrible for business? Is that the businesses complaint? Unbelievable

Irony is there is no farmer who owns the stall in this market.

markusoff Huh. Never even thought about the green line's effect on Crossroads

markusoff The 104 street market in Edmonton was a fantastic seasonal market. It could be a good model to start with.

markusoff It’s not the grocery stores it’s the lousy, expensive and hard to find parking downtown and our lousy transit system.

yyc transportation is a joke. Transit is not safe & it's not efficient, also parking is expensive. Either way, unless you live very close to something in the core - it's too much of a hassle to go. Calgary is growing away from the core. Ask yourself is it worth leaving suburbs?
