Towards ensuring manufactured products are produce within industrial standard and prevent substandard products entering the market, Standard Organisation of Nigeria , yesterday, warned local companies operating in Lagos State to register their products or risked being closed down or the products seized.

Salim, represented by the State Coordinator, Lagos State Office III, Rabiu Kabir, said the award of certificate issued at the end of the registration and assessment of product, offer companies opportunity to extend their market across the country and West Africa sub-region. In his remarks, the Managing Director, Agiville Industries Limited, Victor Agidi, explained that one of their products, wheeled bin, was initiated to solve the challenge of waste disposal in Lagos.
