interior designer Michael Taylor is now on the market for $32 million.

Born in Modesto in 1927 before moving to Santa Rosa in 1933, Taylor changed interior design radically in the '70s and '80s with his casual, comfortable, uncomplicated and natural look. He put his stamp on interior design by creating the famous style that brought the outdoors in by using plants and organic materials and filled rooms with neutral palettes, natural light, large-scale furniture and natural materials, such as stone, wicker and slate to reflect the California outdoors.
