'We are still in the research mode,' says Ubisoft on NFTs

On Thursday, in Paris, at a briefing attended by Eurogamer, Guillemot described the moment as a"stumble" which the company had since acknowledged and learned from.Eurogamer Newscast: Sony reluctantly raises PS5 price, but knows it can get away with it.

"Despite the attrition that impacted our entire industry during the pandemic, we hired more than 4000 people over the last fiscal year, including more than 600 people that were rehired, as well as senior talents coming from other leading companies."recent Tencent acquisition of more of Guillemot Brothers

Responding to reports of a drop in share price after the Tencent deal was made public, Guillemot suggested it was due to the market seeing a lower likelihood of investment for a quick sale, and perhaps a lowered likelihood of collaboration with other partners - something Guillemot said was inaccurate.

"Our first intention is to be able to own our destiny. That's why we invest in new technologies. That's why we we look at how we can use those techs to create new brands and so on. NFts with the current energy crisis should be Illegal

'STUMBLE' really?

STUMBLE!? A web of abuse and discrimination is a 'stumble'? Get this shameless creature out of the company please

To be fair it did take them years to decide that sexual assault misconduct and harassment was somewhat bad

I still find it deplorable by Ubisoft to oust the creator (Patrice Désilets) of one of their most successful franchises in Assassin's Creed. They have really done him dirty.

Lol, they lost a lot of money from terrible management and NFTs.

lol they 'stumbled'? And they acknowledged it.? When was that?

This guy drove the company into the ground. Most uninspiring repetitive games in the industry.

They haven't fired any of the offender's incriminated so they've acknowledged sweet FA.

No, you haven't, Yves.

I recommend following ABetterUbisoft for actual updates that don't come with a pay bonus attached.

'Stumbled', more like feel down 10 flights of stairs.

Until the people inside Ubisoft feel things have changed substantively, wallpapering narratives like Guillemot is peddling can get in the sea.

I don't think Ubisoft will see any real change until Yves Guillemot leaves. He's already sold the company's soul by getting into bed with Tencent.

only if you count 'stumbled' as letting serial harassment go unchecked for years.

'Stumbled'

Oh it's time for Ubisoft's yearly 'we'll do better' While the employee group has said absolutely no progress has been made. I'm only surprised people have ignored Ubisoft, and yet focused so much attention on Blizzard, when Ubisoft has done such a worst job handling it.

“Stumbled”? An assassins creed set in Iraq is an absolute dream come true for me, but with utter bullshit like this I just can’t support Ubisoft in any way whatsoever
