UNF unveils new chemistry wing

The University of North Florida Department of Chemistry recently unveiled an addition and renovation project to improve teaching and research spaces.

An event Sept. 9 featured remarks from Dr. Xiao-Yu Song, global head of research and development at Johnson & Johnson Vision, and Kaveri Subrahmanyam, dean of the UNF College of Arts and Sciences. UNF reported that the new additions and renovations include approximately 20,000 square feet of space providing six new research labs, three new teaching labs, a computer lab, a classroom, student study areas, a locker room and more.
