A “Thrax was here” alert popped up on many iPhones.

The message claims they got in thanks to a password that was shared across many accounts, including an administrator.

The hackers also pointed to a forum for trading information stolen in security breaches, where they shared the same details, starting with posts made two days ago. The forum post said they’re releasing thousands of employee records, as well as draft posts from the database, but said customer information was stored in a different database that they did not have access to.s unclear exactly how many people received the blast, but a look around social media reveals it went out widely.

A quick google search shows the Thrax individual has posted in numerous forums discussing hacking. He was behind a hack of Facebook over a decade ago according to a book by Katherine Losse, The Boy Kings. She worked at FB and he was hired there after his hack, per her writing.

Ironic, they write articles about multi-factor authentication, but probably had an admin account with MFA disabled.

Their Google meta tags have been hacked too. Google that awful term with “fast company” This is really bad.
