Texas is practically the worst state for workers, according to a new study by Oxfam America, which ranked states on wages, worker protection and employees' ability to unionize.

Oregon is the best state for workers, and North Carolina is the worst.The report points to wages lagging inflation, COVID-19 and several states' abortion restrictions as causes for more perilous work conditions.

and doesn't require collective bargaining for public workers, among other factors.

It’s a BS study that considers controversial factors like abortion rights and Covid mandates as good for workers. More than 1/2 the country would consider those 2 factors as bad for workers. It seems like leftist wokism is ruining everything, including supposed unbiased studies.

If Texas is so terrible why are so many people fleeing blue states like NY and Ca to go there?

No state income tax...may have wanted to factor that into the equation. People are moving out of CA, NY and IL to go to TX because of work.
