The victim had paid $23,000 in bitcoin not realizing he was being scammed until he was asked to pay $9,000 for the code to unlock the brief case.

SELINSGROVE - A 26-year-old Snyder County man got taken to the bank by some scammers.

The man told police Saturday that since June 1 he had used a cash app and bitcoin to pay $23,000 for what he thought was an investment.
