Comcast RISE to award $1 million in grants to Oakland businesses owned by women and people of color

Taking the stage after the panel, Comcast Senior Manager of External Communications Adriana Arvizo said, “For the past two years, I have had the joy of promoting the Comcast RISE program. Small businesses are the backbone of our communities and our economy, but those were the hardest hit by the pandemic. Especially those owned by women and people of color. That’s why we support BIPOC-owned small businesses with marketing consultations and technology makeovers.
