According to the story, the restaurant is set to open in the summer of 2023 and will feature foods inspired by Nowitzki's home country of Germany including German potato salad, chicken schnitzel and bratwurst with sauerkraut.

The restaurant will be operated through a partnership with Dallas-based D&B Mitchel Group and will feature virtual reality that will allow customers to interact with the NBA Finals MVP. The virtual reality technology will be provided by Frisco-based Aireal. According to the story, Nowitzki is one of four new businesses opening inside the airport. Other businesses include Dallas-based convenience store Plum Market, Fort Worth coffee chain Ampersand and a convenience store from Dallas-based recovery center The Bridge.
Nowitzki played for 21 years for the Dallas Mavericks and included NBA MVP in 2006 and a championship in 2011.
