Sandberg Jewelers at Village Crossing in Skokie is closing after more than 100 years in business.

Skokie Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Howard Meyer offered Sandberg an au revoir despondent that one of the last independent jewelers in Skokie will be gone.“Sandberg Jewelers has been a longtime Chamber member. As a multi-generational business, they have made huge contributions to the community as well as defining excellence and integrity in the jewelry business,” Meyer said.
