Electric cars accounted for 17.7% of all new cars sales in California, breaking another record.

If you think you’re seeing a lot more Tesla cars on the roads, you’re right.

Santa Clara County accounted for 21,993 of the electric vehicles sold in the first nine months of this year. That placed it third statewide after Los Angeles and Orange counties. California accounts for 42.6% of all ZEVs sold in the nation, with a cumulative 1.4 million ZEV sales.
