The family of Stellenbosch University student, Babalo Ndwayana, has welcomed a decision by the NPA to prosecute Theuns du Toit.

Race relations at the historically white institution were once again thrust into the spotlight when this video went viral in May this year. It prompted anti-racism protests on campus and the establishment of an independent probe headed by retired constitutional court justice, Sisi Khampepe. The Central Disciplinary Committee found him guilty of racism and contravening sections of the university’s disciplinary code for students and its Amended Residence rules.

“We can confirm that the NPA has decided to prosecute the accused in this matter on malicious damage to property and crimen injuria, but he has instructed the investigating officer to finalise his investigation before the matter is placed on the roll.”“We welcome the decision by the NPA to prosecute Theuns du Toit.

So sick of the gaslighting about racism. NPA sies! White racism is a dog whistle to trigger the crowds old wounds to cover for tyrannical corruption, crime & collapse of SA. A drunk kid pissing, is not a racial incident, the victim clearly said so.

I wonder when this country will grow up enough to not assume that any negative interaction between a white and black person is the result of racism. Definitely not while the ANC is in power

Milking a dead cow. Pee boy was drunk and passed on a bag now its like he burnt down the uni.

Racism is alive but not just from Caucasians if you have to be honest here this country is a sespool of Racism from all sides
