As the show returned from a hiatus, crowds filled the base to capacity.

For the first time in the show's history, the crowd who surged onto the base reached capacity, with officials estimating some 200,000 people were there.

The show featured the return of the Blue Angels for the first time since Covid-19 shut down the planned 2020 show, with the team using new aircraft.
