Jewish beauty founder, Liz Kennedy, partnered with two Muslim investors for her company Beauty Magnet, a 5-in-1 skincare tool with a mission of helping women to become magnetic.

When Kennedy raised her seed round for Beauty Magnet she connected with two Muslim investors. At the time she was pregnant and many investors doubted her vision and her capabilities as an operator. Tariq Khan and Danny Saleem not only believed in Kennedy from the moment they met with her but they also saw the huge potential for the Beauty Magnet brand.

Khan was Beauty Magnet’s first investor even though there wasn’t a prototype- it was just an idea. “I first met Liz when this was just an incredible idea in her mind and there wasn’t even a prototype. She had so much conviction and certainty that she was going to build something so unique and revolutionary in an industry she knew so well, I couldn’t help but buy into her passion and conviction.
