BP and Shell have recorded massive profits this year

Following more reports of massive profits for energy companies amidst the backdrop of the soaring cost of living, calls have been made for an increased windfall tax.

With this latest news, we want to know if you think the windfall tax on energy companies should be greater.BP made $8.2 billion between July and September this year and while they will pay $800 million in windfall taxes as part of a $2.5 billion total in tax this year, Shell won't be paying any windfall tax despite their $9.5 billion profits from July to September.

Companies are prepared to pay this , most European countries have allready forced this

There should be no question about it whatsoever. It's daylight robbery made even more disgusting by being committed at a time of national crisis.

The 'windfall' tax its whats causing the problem ffs. Its literally a money laundring scheme. Oil companoes get more money than they pay in taxes from government kickbacks. Have you even looked at its implemintation ? Fml

Question are the profits made worldwide or just in England? will everyone else want a share of the pie, if we look at BP what of the likes of GOOGLE, AMAZON and all the other tax dodging companies.

More windfall tax, less tax break incentives.
